The Pro Loco San Cataldo has selected street food stands to enrich the food and wine offerings for the 70th Anniversary on July 26th in Piazza Crispi.

Requirements and Details:

Typical Sicilian products of high quality.

Availability to work during the event (Start at 7:30 pm).

Space assigned in a central, high-traffic area.

70th Anniversary of the Proloco of San Cataldo

Notice of Interest

Participation in the tasting of typical Sicilian products

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Proloco Tourist Association of San Cataldo, an evening of tastings of Sicilian products will take place.

The planned location is Piazza Crispi, along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, on Sunday 26 July 2026 from 7:30 pm.

Eight stands are available for the offering and tasting of typical Sicilian products.

Art. 1: The stands that will be assigned will have the dimensions of 3.00x3.00 metres;

Art. 2: Each stand will be equipped with lighting and a single-phase socket and will be equipped with one 2.00-meter table for displaying products;

Art. 3: The staff responsible for distributing the products must be regularly authorised to administer food and will be entirely at the expense of the assignee;

Art. 4: The equipment for processing and packaging the products is the responsibility of the stand assignee.

Each assignee will be given: 200 small paper plates, napkins, and waste collection bags;

Art. 5: the area will be available from 3:30 pm until 11:30 pm on 26 July 2026;

Art. 6: At the end of the event, each stand assignee must leave the area clean without any processing or packaging residues;

Art. 7: In order to obtain a 3.00 x 3.00 meter stand, including what is indicated in Articles 2 and 4, individual producers assigned to the event are required to make a donation/sponsorship to cover the costs of organizing the evening.

Art. 8: The assignee who needs to install electrical equipment with three-phase power must communicate this in advance, adding the cost of the three-phase socket to the agreed offer/sponsorship.

Art. 9: The tasting proposal will have the following modalities:

Each gazebo will have a sign (a copy) displaying the ticket price for the food item on offer. The sign will be prominently displayed.

Tickets will be distributed by the San Cataldo Pro Loco staff, housed at a dedicated stand, who will issue separate tokens/tickets for the required amount, upon payment of the relevant amount as indicated below:

€3.00 (green) for a medium gastronomic portion

Euro €5.00 (Blue) for a large gourmet portion

Euro €1.00 (White) for a half-litre bottle of water.

€1.00 (red) for a 30ml glass of liqueur (Moscato) or a 125ml glass of wine, which will only be delivered with the purchase of a gastronomic product.

The product must be delivered exclusively upon presentation of a special token/ticket by the visitor.

Article 10: Vendors overlooking the square are not entitled to distribution within the public area, but only within their own premises. If they wish to participate, they must adjust their prices to those set forth in the following notice of interest and contribute with a donation/sponsorship.

Art. 11: The assignees will be paid for the drinks they consume upon presentation of the relevant tokens/tickets, with the exception of those for wine/water and Moscato, which will be distributed by the Pro Loco.

Art. 12: Each exhibitor must have the proper qualifications for the processing and sale of the products offered and be duly registered in the business register of the Chamber of Commerce competent for the territory (attach a copy of the Chamber of Commerce certificate).

Art. 13: Proloco will retain a fee of €0.50 for each ticket to manage the distribution of products.
