May 29 – Art in Piazza Calvario | Video presentation of the Ceramic Panels of Piazza Calvario

The Pro Loco Tourist Association of San Cataldo, in collaboration with the Municipality of San Cataldo, Skerma and the BCC G. Toniolo e San Michele, is pleased to invite all citizens to an unmissable cultural event, where tradition meets visual art and great music.

On May 29th, starting at 6.30 pm, the“Gaetano Saporito” Auditorium (Corso Vittorio Emanuele, 165) will host a moment of great emotion: the official screening and presentation of the complete video dedicated to the evocative Ceramic Panels of Piazza Calvario.

A unique opportunity to rediscover and celebrate one of the deepest and most heartfelt symbols of our identity and of the Passion of Saint Cataldese. To give you a small taste of the intensity and beauty of the project, we invite you to watch the official trailer:

After the institutional greetings of the Mayor, the Council and the President of the Municipal Council, guests and scholars will speak and share memories, stories and reflections on the value of Calvary in San Cataldo:

• Giuseppe Cazzetta (Me and Piazza Calvario)

• Eliana Miraglia (cello)

• Giovanni Mammano (in memory of Prof. Giuseppe Mammano)

The evening will be hosted by Salvatore Scarlata, who will guide the audience through the presentation of the team that created the video work and the final thanks.
